+ The British Standards Institution charges huge sums of money for copies of European Standards, even from members of the public like myself who have contributed suggestions during the development of those Standards. You charge a much more reasonable price for the same publications.
Drawbacks of the eShop:
- You need to make it clearer what a "VAT payer" is. In your version it means a commercial organisation able to charge VAT and then reclaim it. I regard a VAT payer as an ordinary European citizen who must pay VAT but cannot reclaim it. You also need to ensure that your website interface with PayPal always works as it should. On several occasions when I bought publications in Pounds Sterling I was taken to PayPal, which asked me to give the price in US Dollars before being allowed to proceed to payment. Your website should have passed that information on my behalf automatically to PayPal. As I did not know what the payment was in US dollars, I had to abort the process and start again.
