Der Inhalt des DIN-Taschenbuchs 225 wurde auf zwei Bände aufgeteilt. Der erste Teil umfasst jetzt den Bereich der Annahmestichprobenprüfung anhand von Alternativmerkmalen. Die Normen zu normalverteilten Merkmalen sind im DIN-TAB 225/2 zu finden. Dieser Band stellt als Grundlage die vier Teile der Norm DIN 53803 "Probenahme" mit den statistischen Grundlagen und Anweisungen zur praktischen Durchführung bereit. Die DIN ISO 2859 gibt Auskunft zur Annahmestichprobenprüfung anhand der Anzahl fehlerhafter Einheiten oder Fehler (Attributprüfung). Der Teil 10 führt in das ISO-2859-Attribut-Stichprobensystem ein, die Teile 1 bis 4 befassen sich mit Stichprobenplänen und Verfahren.
