Ziel der Hanseatischen Sanierungstage ist die präzise Diagnostik von Schäden an Mauerwerken, die durch Feuchtigkeit und Salzbelastung entstanden sind; zugleich geht es um die Diskussion nachhaltiger Sanierungsmöglichkeiten. Schwerpunkte sind u. a. Präsentation und Analyse von Sanierungsprodukten in Bezug auf ihre baupraktische Anwendung. Hervorzuheben ist dabei das 1. Ingenieurs-Merkblatt des Bundesverbandes Feuchte und Altbausanierung e. V. (BuFAS), das sich ausgiebig mit der Injektionsmittelanwendung zur Horizontalabdichtung beschäftigt.
