Das erste B+B FORUM, das das Dahlberg-Institut in Wismar und die Fachzeitschrift B+B BAUEN IM BESTAND im April 2011 gemeinsam in Wismar durchführten, widmete sich den aktuellen Normen, Regeln und Entwicklungen im Bautenschutz. Zur Tagung erschien der vorliegende Sammelband mit zehn Fachbeiträgen zahlreicher Experten zu den Themenschwerpunkten der Veranstaltung. Zum Thema: Die meisten Schäden am Bauwerk entstehen, weil der Schutz gegenüber Feuchtigkeitseinflüssen nicht gegeben ist, bzw. im Laufe der Zeit immer mehr nachlässt. Mangelbeseitigung und Schadenbehebung im Bereich der Gebäudeabdichtung sind meist mit immensen Folgekosten verbunden. Themenschwerpunkte: Mauerwerke, Injektionsmittel und Weiße Wannen; Dächer, Holzkonstruktionen und Fachwerke; Ziegelfassaden; Sachverständigentätigkeit.
