Die Richtlinienreihe VDI 6010 gilt für sicherheitstechnische Einrichtungen in Gebäuden. Das Blatt 3 gibt Hinweise zur Organisation, Durchführung und Dokumentation von Vollprobetests in Gebäuden. Die Richtlinie dient insbesondere dem Nachweis der öffentlich-rechtlich geforderten Funktionalitäten bei Erstprüfungen, Wiederholungsprüfungen und Prüfungen nach wesentlichen Änderungen (Wirkprinzipprüfung). Da es für die Abnahme dieser Test bisher keine Standards gab, bildet das Blatt 3 ist somit die Prüfgrundlage zur Erfüllung behördlicher Vorgaben. Der Kommentar zu VDI 6010 Blatt 3 gibt Hinweise, Erläuterungen und Hilfen für die Anwendung der Richtlinie in der täglichen Praxis. Ein Musterprüfbericht, ein Muster-Deckblatt für Prüfunterlagen sowie ein Prüfplan für den Vollprobetest stehen zum kostenlosen Download in der Beuth-Mediathek bereit.
