Die Vergabe- und Vertragsordnung für Bauleistungen (VOB) ist das einschlägige Grundlagen- und Nachschlagewerk für die Bauvergabe in Deutschland. Sie ist traditionell Maßstab für gute Bauverträge und solide bauvertragliche Abmachungen. Mit der komplett aktualisierten Ausgabe 2016 werden Änderungen in Teil A, Teil B sowie Teil C gültig. In VOB Teil C wurden insgesamt 15 ATV fachtechnisch und 48 ATV redaktionell überarbeitet. Hinzugekommen ist die ATV DIN 18329 "Verkehrssicherungsarbeiten". Der Inhalt von ATV DIN 18367 "Holzpflasterarbeiten" wurde in ATV DIN 18356 eingearbeitet, die jetzt den Titel "Parkett- und Holzpflasterarbeiten". Die ATV DIN 18367 entfällt.
