FOREWORD

a. This bulletin is under the jurisdiction of the API Committee on Standardization of Production Equipment.

b. The purpose of this bulletin is to present tabular material derived from the application of a computer program to portions of the material in API RP 11L; Design Calculations for Sucker Rod Pumping Systems (First Edition, March 1967).

c. A list of the limiting parameters that were used and an explanation of the reasons for the limitations selected, precede the tables reproduced from the computer printout. Tables 1 and 2 contain rod and pump combinations covered in the printout portion of the book.

d. American Petroleum Institute (API) Bulletins are published to provide information for which there is a broad industry need but which does not constitute either Specifications or Recommended Practices.

e. Any Bulletin may be used by anyone desiring to do so, and a diligent effort has been made by API to assure the accuracy and reliability of the data contained herein.
