1.1 This specification covers the properties of a one-component oil- or resin-base caulking compound, or both, for use in building construction. Oil- and resin-base defines the group that will oxidize and surface skin as opposed to the nondrying type primarily designed for application to concealed surfaces. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard.
