1. Scope | ||
1.1 This test method covers the measurement of the amount of nickel deposited on sheet steel during its preparation for porcelain enameling. It is an X-ray emission method used for testing sample panels or certain commercial parts. Note 1--An alternative wet chemical method is Test Method C715. 1.2 Values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. Values in parentheses are provided for information only. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems associated with its use.
