1.1 This test method covers the measurement of the increase in volume of a low-viscosity aqueous liquid (less than 3 cSt at 40°C) due to its tendency to foam under high shear conditions. Note 1—Foam under low shear is covered by Test Method D 3601. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
