1.1 This test method covers the measurement of sulfur in nonleaded gasoline and gasoline-oxygenate blends. The applicable concentration range is 48 to 1000 mg/kg sulfur. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The preferred concentration units are mg/kg sulfur. 1.3 This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment.
