1.1 This test method of designating the size of refuse-derived fuel from its sieve analysis is applicable to the classified light fraction (RDF-3) of shredded municipal or industrial waste materials less than 0.15 m (6 in.) in size. 1.2 The values stated in acceptable metric units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only. 1.3 This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment.
