1.1 This specification covers the requirements for titanium alloy forgings for surgical implants, in the alpha plus beta condition, when the material forged conforms to Specifications F136 (UNS R56401), F1295 (UNS R56700), F1472 (UNS R56400), or F2066 (UNS R58150). 1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard. |
