Norma platí pro drážková spojení s evolventním profilem zubů podle ČSN 01 4954 a jmenovitými průměry, moduly a počty zubů podle ČSN 01 4952. Norma uvádí lícování při středění na boky zubů, lícování při vnějším a vnitřním středění, lícování nestředících průměrů a způsob označování drážkových spojení.
