Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 1370-78 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma RVHP nedoplňovala. Norma RVHP platí pro parní kotle s přetlakem nad 0,07 MPa a pro horkovodní kotle s teplotou ohřevu vody nad 115°C, jakož i pro prohřívače a ekonomizéry osazené mimo kotel anebo od něho odpojitelné. Velmi stručná norma obsahuje prakticky jen body, které mají být uvedeny na výrobních štítcích kotlů. Mezi nimi pochopitelně nejsou specifické bezpečnostní údaje. Přesto norma patří do souboru norem pro bezpečnostní techniku, zřejmě proto, že označované technické parametry jsou důležité i z hlediska technické bezpečnosti. ČSN 07 0751 byla schválena 19.5.1981 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.7.1981
