Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 4644-84 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma RVHP doplňovala o dva články, které se netýkají ochrany zdraví. Vztahuje se na universální vyvrtávací hlavy používané na souřadnicových a horizontálních vyvrtávacích strojích a radiálních a vertikálních vrtacích strojích. ČSN 24 2372 byla schválena 22.10.1985 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.1.1987
