Norma stanoví požadavky na konstrukci, výrobu a zkoušení ohradových, skříňových a sloupkových palet pro bezvazačovou manipulaci, jejichž základní parametry jsou uvedeny v ČSN 26 9120, u palet pro hutní materiály v ČSN 26 9122 a u palet pro stohování do 8 m v ČSN 26 9124. Jako obvykle jsou stanoveny především požadavky na zkoušení a všeobecné i technické požadavky. Norma je stručně recenzována, protože se vztahuje k prostředkům odstraňujícím fyzickou námahu.
