Norma je překladem ST SEV 5312-85. Platí pro jeřáby a stanoví požadavky bezpečnostní techniky k výrobním zkouškám jejich hydraulických zařízení. Poměrně stručná norma stanovuje obecné požadavky, požadavky na zkoušky těsnosti a požadavky na zkoušky bezpečné funkce hydraulického zařízení. U některých zkoušek je stanoveno nejen to, co se kontroluje, ale také stav, jehož dosažení je podmínkou kladného výsledku zkoušky. Norma samozřejmě platí spolu s dalšími normami bezpečnostní techniky pro jeřáby a její výsledek se také (spolu s ostatními) zapisuje do pasportu jeřábu. ČSN 27 0161 byla schválena 8.12.1986 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.7.1988
