Touto normou se zavádí norma ISO 4310 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma ISO nedoplňovala. Norma ISO definuje v třírozměrné referenční soustavě nulové roviny Y, X a Z a výchozí značky, celkem tedy 4 hesla a jejich české definice.
