Tato norma určuje fotometrickou metodu s N-benzoyl-N-fenylhydroxylaminem pro stanovení obsahu vanadu v hliníku. Tato metoda je použitelná pro stanovení obsahu vanadu od 0,001 % do 0,01 %. Použitím menší alikvotní části roztoku vzorku lze stanovit i vyšší obsahy vanadu. Při provádění rozboru se musí dodržovat všeobecné požadavky stanovené v ČSN 42 0602
