Norma platí pro chemický rozbor olovnato-zinkových rud a určuje stanovení vlhkosti vážkovou metodou. Při provádění rozboru musí být dodržena všechna ustanovení podle ČSN 44 1701. Podstata metody: Vzorek se suší při předepsané teplotě do konstantní hmotnosti. Úbytek hmotnosti odpovídá obsahu vlhkosti. Postup při provádění normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán. ČSN 44 1621 byla schválena 18.5.1989 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.6.1990. Nahradila část 2 ČSN 44 1654 z 29.11.1973 a spolu s ČSN 44 1701, ČSN 44 1622 až ČSN 44 1632 ji nahradila v celém rozsahu
