Norma platí pro chemický rozbor antimonových rud a koncentrátů a určuje stanovení telluru metodou fotometrickou. Při provádění rozboru musí být dodržena všechna ustanovení podle ČSN 44 1701. Podstata metody: Po kyselinovém rozkladu vzorku se tellur oddělí od rušivých prvků redukcí na kov za použití selenu jako kolektoru. Po rozpuštění v kyselině bromovodíkové se tellur stanoví fotometricky s bismutonem. Postup při provádění normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán. ČSN 44 1659 byla schválena 18.5.1989 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.4.1990
