Norma platí pro chemický rozbor zinkových koncentrátů a určuje stanovení germania metodu fotometrickou. Při provádění rozboru musí být dodržena všechna ustanovení podle ČSN 44 1701. Podstata metody: Po rozkladu vzorku kyselinami se germanium oddělí destilací v azeotropické směsi kyseliny chlorovodíkové a stanoví fotometricky s fenylfluoronem. Postup při provádění normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán. ČSN 44 1675 byla schválena 18.5.1989 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.2.1990. Nahradila ČSN 44 1655 z 23.7.1969 v části II. ZKOUŠENÍ oddíl S a spolu s ČSN 44 1701, ČSN 44 1661 až ČSN 44 1674 ji nahradila v celém rozsahu
