Norma platí pro chemický rozbor olověných koncentrátů a určuje stanovení india metodou polarografickou. Při provádění rozboru musí být dodržena všechna ustanovení podle ČSN 44 1701. Podstata metody: Vzorek se rozloží kyselinami, olovo se odstraní jako síran olovnatý. Indium se zachytí na měniči iontů Wofatitu L 150 (nebo jiném vhodném silně bázickém měniči aniontů obdobného typu) a po eluci se indium stanoví polarograficky v chloridovém prostředí. Postup při provádění normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán. ČSN 44 1775 byla schválena 14.3.1988 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.5.1989. Nahradila v ČSN 44 1656 z 23.7.1969 v části II oddíl O a spolu s ČSN 44 1701, ČSN 44 1760 až ČSN 44 1767, ČSN 44 1769 až ČSN 44 1774, ČSN 44 1776 až ČSN 44 1778 ji nahradila v celém rozsahu
