V této normě jsou zapracované údaje z ISO 3345. Stanovuje laboratorní metodu zjišťování pevnosti dřeva v tahu podél vláken na malých bezvadných zkušebních tělesech. Podstatou metody je zatížení zkušebního tělesa stanoveného tvaru a rozměrů rovnoměrně se zvětšující silou, která působí ve směru podél vláken dřeva až do porušení tělesa, a výpočet pevnosti ze zjištěného největšího zatížení a z průřezu pracovní části zkušebního tělesa. ČSN 49 0113 byla schválena 8.5.1991 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.4.1992. Nahradila ČSN 49 0113 z 22.4.1960
