Tato část normy platí spolu s ČSN 70 0600 pro stanovení oxidu olovnatého vážkovou metodou v těch typech skla, u nichž je její použití předepsáno v normě pro rozbor příslušného typu skla. Principem metody je vyloučení olovnatých a barnatých iontů ve formě nerozpustných síranů, které se odfiltrují, promyjí, vysuší a zváží. Obsah síranu barnatého, stanovený podle ČSN 70 0637 část 2, se odečte. Postup při provádění normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán. ČSN 70 0632-2 byla schválena 18.6.1986 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.5.1987
