Tato evropská norma specifikuje za studena válcované izotropní ocelové pásy a plechy pro elektrotechniku se jmenovitými tloušťkami 0,35 mm, 0,50 mm, 0,65 mm a 1,00 mm. Dále stanoví obecné požadavky, požadavky na magnetické vlastnosti, tvar a tolerance tvaru, technologické vlastnosti a kontrolní postupy.
