Tato norma je českou verzí evropské normy EN 1015-7:1998. Evropská norma EN 1015-7:1998 má status české technické normy. Tato evropská norma určuje dvě metody pro stanovení obsahu vzduchu v čerstvých maltách včetně malt obsahujících minerální pojiva a hutná i lehká kameniva. Metoda A je "tlaková metoda", metoda B je "alkoholová metoda". Pro obsah vzduchu menší než 20 % se používá metoda A. Pro obsah vzduchu 20 % nebo více se používá metoda B. Princip obou metod i postup při provádění normalizovaných zkoušek je popsán. ČSN EN 1015-7 (72 2400) byla vydána v říjnu 1999
