Tato norma platí pro ocelové hřebíky z drátů. Její první část je zaměře-na na sypané hřebíky pro všeobecné použití. Má deset kapitol, které se zabývají kromě jiného i technickými požadavky, mezními úchylkami, odběrem vzorků, dokumenty kontroly a balením a značením. Čtvrtá kapitola této normy je věnována definicím, kde jsou vyjmenovány a jasně zobrazeny typy hlaviček, dříků a hrotů hřebíků.
