Tato část normy stanovuje technické dodací podmínky pro bezešvé duté tyče určené pro výrobu strojních součástí pomocí obrábění a v návaznosti na ně i požadavky na obrobitelnost dutých tyčí. Norma udává limity rozboru tavby u uvedených výrobků a povolené odchylky rozboru výrobků od těchto limitů. Dále se norma zabývá obrobitelností výrobků a v tabulkách stanovuje rozměry dosažitelné po obrábění. Norma se zmiňuje rovněž o přípravě zkušebních těles pro zkoušky tahem a zkoušky rázem a popisuje tyto zkušební metody pro normou pokryté výrobky.
