Tato norma stanoví zkušební postup pro zjišťování účinků vlhkosti v kombinaci s vysokými teplotami na fyzikální vlastnosti povrstvených textilií. Není vhodná pro vyhodnocování materiálů, které jsou během používání ponořeny ve vodě. Vzorky povrstvených textilií jsou nejméně 1 týden vystaveny účinků vlhkého a horkého ovzduší v sušicí komoře a následné změny jejich vybraných fyzikálních vlastností se porovnají se vzorky, které nebyly těmto účinkům vystaveny.
