Tato norma stanoví metodu pro určování součinitele tlakové ztráty a součinitele průtoku kapaliny armaturami v potrubním systému při použití vody jako zkušební tekutiny. Tato metoda je vhodná:
- - pro armatury s nízkými hodnotami , avšak vyššími než 0,1 při určování tlakové ztráty s ohledem na průtok a hustotu zkušební tekutiny;
- - pro armatury se stejnou jmenovitou světlostí na vstupu i na výstupu.
Průmyslové regulační armatury nejsou předmětem této normy
