Norma ČSN EN 1288-3 předepisuje zkušební metodu pro stanovení pevnosti stavebního skla v ohybu na vzorcích plochého skla, které jsou podepřeny ve dvou bodech; měří se tzv čtyřbodový ohyb. Zkušební postup dle této normy zahrnuje vliv hran skla. Tuto normu lze použít i ke stanovení vlivu samotných hran skla na pevnost v ohybu.
