Tato evropská norma specifikuje metody stanovení schopnosti brizantních trhavin pro civilní použití detonovat za působení hydrostatického tlaku. Tato metoda je použitelná pro brizantní trhaviny v náložkách a jako volně sypané výrobky, zamýšlené pro použití za podmínek, kde může hydrostatický tlak nepříznivě působit na jejich bezpečnost a spolehlivost. Metoda je omezena na výbušniny, které jsou schopny detonovat bez prostorového omezení při normálním atmosférickém tlaku.
