Tato norma stanovuje metodu pro posuzování odolnosti kameniva, které je vystaveno cyklickému působení zmrazování a rozmrazování za přítomnosti 1 % roztoku NaCl v deionizované nebo destilované vodě. Výsledky této zkoušky umožňují posoudit odolnost kameniva proti tomuto teplotnímu působení v místech, kde se často vyskytuje cyklický střídavý mraz a tání při postřiku mořskou vodou nebo časté rozmrazování a kde výsledky zkoušky podle zkušební metody EN 1367-1 nevystihují chování kameniva v extremních podmínkách.
