Tato evropská norma specifikuje stanovení obsahu fosforu v methylesterech mastných kyselin, dále označovaných jako FAME, v rozsahu od 4 mg/kg do 20 mg/kg metodou emisní spektrometrie s indukčně vázaným plazmatem (ICP). Tato metoda se zaměřuje na ohodnocení kvality FAME ve smyslu stanovení obsahu vedlejších produktů transesterifikace jako je fosfor, jehož koncentrace může ovlivnit chování paliva.
