Tato evropská norma popisuje dvě metody pro stanovení tloušťky vrstvy zrnitého materiálu v konstrukci povrchu venkovních sportovišť. Tyto dvě metody mohou být použity k přibližnému stanovení tloušťky materiálů povrchové úpravy; v jedné se používá ocelové pásmo, ve druhé se používá plovoucí disk a ocelové pásmo. Metoda 1 je použitelná pro vrstvy v konstrukci podkladu. Metoda 2 měří tloušťku určitého materiálu v horní vrstvě povrchu.
