Tento dokument specifikuje metodu pro stanovení kyanamidového dusíku v hnojivech. Metoda je použitelná na kyanamid vápenatý a směsi kyanamidu vápenatého s dusičnanem vápenatým. Kyanamidový dusík se vysráží ve formě stříbrného komplexu. Komplex se rozloží kyselinou sírovou za pomoci katalyzátoru. Amoniak se z alkalického roztoku vydestiluje a zachytí v přebytku odměrného roztoku kyseliny sírové a přebytek se stanoví zpětnou titrací odměrným roztokem hydroxidu sodného nebo draselného
