Tato evropská norma specifikuje metodu stanovení prvků vápníku, sodíku, fosforu, hořčíku, draslíku, síry, železa, zinku, mědi, manganu a kobaltu v krmivech pomocí atomové emisní spektrometrie s indukčně vázaným plazmatem (ICP-AES) po tlakovém rozkladu. Metoda byla plně statisticky zkoušena a vyhodnocena pro prvky vápník, sodík, fosfor, hořčík, draslík, síru, železo, zinek, měď, mangan a kobalt pomocí následujících 11 vzorků krmiv: 2 kompletní krmiva (krmivo pro prasata, krmivo pro ovce), 3 doplňková krmiva (3 minerální krmiva), 1 minerální premix, 3 krmné suroviny (MgO, fosfát, CaCO3) a 2 doplňkové látky (CuSO4, bentonit)
