Tato norma je použitelná pro stanovení deoxynivalenolu (DON) v krmivech pro zvířata v koncentracích od 150 _g/kg až do nejméně 4000 _g/kg.
Deoxynivalenol (DON) je ze vzorku extrahován vodou. Vodný extrakt se poté přečistí s imunoafinitní kolonou pro odstranění nečistot ze vzorku. Následně se DON kvantitativně stanoví HPLC s UV detekcí
