Tato evropská norma se použije pro kvantitativní analýzu (vázané a volné) kyseliny kyanovodíkové (HCN) v krmných surovinách rostlinného původu a krmných směsích, metodou vysokoúčinné kapalinové chromatografie (HPLC). Metoda je validována od obsahu 10 mg/kg HCN do 350 mg/kg HCN. Pokud se metoda použije mimo toto rozpětí, měla by být validována minimálně laboratoří. Normálně by měla být získána mez stanovitelnosti 2 mg/kg HCN
