Tato norma popisuje metodu stanovení řady prvků po rozkladu kalů, upraveného bioodpadu a půd lučavkou královskou nebo kyselinou dusičnou. Pracovní rozsah závisí na matrici a na rušivých vlivech. Mez detekce pro většinu prvků je mezi 0,1 mg/kg sušiny a 2,0 mg/kg sušiny. Mez detekce bude vyšší v případech, kdy stanovení bude pravděpodobně ovlivněno rušivými vlivy nebo v případě paměťových efektů
