Tato evropská norma specifikuje doplňkové informace k EN ISO 10140-1, které jsou nezbytné, jak za standardních podmínek efektivně provádět a určovat neprůzvučnost systémů montovaných stěn ze sádrokartonu s ocelovými profily podle EN ISO 10140-2 "Akustika - Laboratorní měření zvukové izolace stavebních konstrukcí - Část 2: Měření vzduchové neprůzvučnosti". Je zřejmé, že všechny požadavky EN ISO 10140-2 mají být také splněny. Pro snížení nejistoty se specifikují:
- - další pokyny pro zkoušení systémů montovaných stěn ze sádrokartonu s ocelovými profily; a
