Tato norma stanoví zvláštní požadavky na kontrolní a sériové odlitky z titanu a slitin titanu. Tato norma se musí používat společně s EN 2545-1. Při použití přetavovaných materiálů musí tyto materiály odpovídat EN 2545-2. Pokud v objednávce, na výkrese nebo v postupu kontroly není požadováno jinak, musí se odlitky dodávat v úrovni jakosti 2 (viz tabulka 3)
