Tato norma definuje bezpečnost pro otevřený komunikační systém HBES pro byty a budovy. Je založena na ISO/IEC 24767-2 Bezpečnost domácí sítě / Obslužná aplikace bezpečného komunikačního protokolu (SCPM).
