Tato norma se zabývá komunikačními kabely malých průměrů s průměrem rovným nebo menším než 14 mm, namontovanými na zkušebním žebříku ve svazcích za účelem získání celkového normálního objemu nekovového materiálu rovnajícího se 0,5 l/m zkušebního vzorku. Doba působení je 20 min. Navržené zkoušky jsou určeny pro komunikační kabely, které vyžadují zkoušení kabelů pro malou hustotu instalace. Zkoušky musí být zakotveny ve specifikacích kabelů, kde musí být rovněž uvedeny požadavky.
