Tato část normy zahrnuje základní rozměrové vztahy mezi kostrami a souvisícími zásuvnými jednotkami v souladu s řadou norem IEC 60297. Účelem této normy je specifikovat rozměry, které zabezpečí rozměrovou vyměnitelnost mezi kostrami a souvisícími zásuvnými jednotkami.
