Tato část IEC 931 se vztahuje na vnitřní pojistky, které jsou navrženy k odpojení vadných kondenzátorových svitků nebo kondenzátorové jednotky a tak umožňují další funkce zbývajících částí kondenzátoru a konden-zátorové baterie, ve které je kondenzátorová jednotka zapojena. Tyto pojistky nenahrazují vypínací zařízení jako je např. výkonový vypínač, ani vnější ochranné zařízení kondenzátorové baterie, nebo jeho část.
