Norma je identická s EN 992:1995. Obsahuje ustanovení pro postup stanovení objemové hmotnosti mezerovitého betonu z pórovitého kameniva v suchém stavu. Normalizována je podstata zkoušky, která uvádí: "Objemová hmotnost v suchém stavu se zjišťuje na zkušebních tělesech odebraných z prefabrikovaných dílců podle prEN 1520 jako poměr hmotnosti betonu po vysušení do konstantní hmotnosti k jeho objemu."
