Norma ČSN EN ISO 14253-5 specifikuje pojmy pro vyhodnocení nejistot hodnot zkoušky odvozených ze zkušebního protokolu dohodnutého účastníky zkoušky a vztahující se k indikaci měřidla, získaných při ověřovacím zkoušení indikačních měřidel GPS. Jestliže zkouška indikačního měřidla obsahuje několik hodnot zkoušky, některé se vztahují k indikaci měřidla a některé k jiným metrologickým charakteristikám, zabývá se tato část ISO 14253 pouze nejistotou indikace měřidla.
